I do think like Kilopascal that rejection or acceptation of ISO 8601 and SI correlate. It is either the same conservative or progressive mindset. I am a member of the ISO discussion group on Yahoo and in one of my first messages there I stated that I supported decent international standards like ISO 8601 and the International System of Units. Just too bad that Yahoo does not use ISO 8601. They even use the MM-DD-YY AM/PM stuff in 'Groups' and 'Clubs' discussions in languages like German and French, or at least, they did so a few months ago when I saw some non-English speaking 'Groups'. BTW, Yahoo is going to merge the 'Groups' and 'Clubs' discussion forums in the very near future.
The weather forecasts on the general Yahoo Italian website gave Fahrenheit-only temperatures! What or who gave them that idea? The BWMA, F2M or ACWM, perhaps?
