Via the Seattle Times website I just noticed that the "Discovery Walk Festival" in Vancouver Washington will have "walking events from easy 5Ks to a 42K marathon, April 19-21..."
No mention of a 26 mile... marathon, just a simple, "rounded" 42K one, and no events of 1500 or 1600 meters or multiples thereof either. Progress, Paul
