I will certainly not do it. For two reasons : 1 - Like billions of people accross the world I am perfectly comfortable with the word "kilogram" and I sm not prepared to spend some of my intellectual energy to change my mind about it... 2 - Sure, my cartesian mind would prefer some more consistency in use of uppercase or lowercase for prefix symbols. Bur are there not more important matters for international cooperation, at a moment where global peace is threatened in various places in the world ? Louis
