To Bill, John & all
Let us not fight.
1st of all, I sent that email only
1. to stress that Uncle Sam supports metric
(thanks to Jim Gottlieb's link to that site).
2. to show that another American website
www.evworld.com also uses metric.
3. point out the Volkswagen's great achievement.
The website www.evworld.com talks mostly about
Japanese & German autos, since they produce the
World's most fuel efficient vehicles. But they are
patriotic and support America's cause to gain energy
independence.
John : Adolf Hitler was the 1st person to start the
nuclear bomb project which later gave us clean nuclear
energy. But that does not mean that we should worship
him. By the way, interstate system was conceived in
USA in 1920's. I do hold Albert Einstein, Karl Benz,
Steffi Graf & other Germans in great esteem, but not
Hitler & company.
Bill & others : If you are more interested in
automobile fuel efficiency news, send a personal email
to me and I will update you.
Thanks
Madan
