Actually Jim, I have a need for consistent scaling all the time with
photographic enlargements. In American units, typical photo print standard
sizes go:
  3x5 (1.67)
  4x6 (1.50)
  5x7 (1.40)
  6x8 (1.33)
  8x10 (1.25)
  11x14 (1.27)
  16x20 (1.25)
  20x30 (1.50)
  30x40 (1.33)
etc.

Drives me nuts when I want to scale up or down from one size to the next
without having to crop out part of the image or include additional portions.
If you maintain the same image ratio when scaling up or down, the resulting
print doesn't fit in standard mats or frames. Ughhhhhhhhh. A-series papers
would eliminate this problem.

Does anyone know if Kodak, Epson, Canon, HP, etc. make A-series papers for
photo inkjet printers? They must for overseas markets. Are there any
sources in the US?

Tx, Paul

I'm only a youngster, of course, but in the last fifty some years, I cannot
recall when this need ever arose. But, then, my wife Whatsername would
probably call that a "senior moment".
