To Pat and all,

I am getting to know my new computer and Windows XP slowly.
At first I looked at the country settings. They were already localized to
Nederland. I only had to change the date format from dd-mm-YYYY to
YYYY-mm-dd
I can no longer set any system or non-system of units explicitly in Windows
XP.
Then there is an Adobe Acrobat 5 reader already installed. It defaults to
inches (of course).
Edit, then Preferences down the Edit menu: points, inches, millimeters.
Choose one. mm
Word 2002: was already set to cm.
I am going to find out whether I can change the name of the floppy drive A:
from 3.5 inch to 90 mm.
If I find other things I had to change to SI I will send them later.

Dear Han,

I wonder if I could ask a favor.

As you get to know your new computer and more importantly customise it
using SI could you keep some sort of list so that we can know how many
parameters that you have to change.

 Thanks and best regards,
