        Whatever gave you that impression, Gene? Nevermind, this is not the
forum to get into that.

        But it is pertinent that (general theory) relativistic effects have to
be taken into account to compare the atomic clocks in the network
monitored by the BIPM, such as the NIST clocks in Colorado. The SI
brochure mentions this in the notes at the back.
