Arlington, TX has repeatedly rejected public transportation
over
the last 20 years thru referendum. It has the honor of largest US
city without
public transportation.

increase taxes on bezin in order to make the people realize

train ride: $16 (according to Jim Elwell $2 private + $14 public
funds)
30 km car ride: (30 km x $0.02/km) = $6.00
The US looks like a tremendous energy saver by the
above example (assuming $ translates almost
directly
into energy usage).
