I propose that we resume searches of US Federal Web pages and relentlessly prod authors (or Web Masters) to use SI preferentially as directed by existing Federal Laws and the Bush Executive Order.
We have neglected this process recently. Ken Butcher, the new Leader of the NIST Laws and Metric Group, and Tina Butcher, on a one-year detail as assistant to the NIST Director, might be persuaded to seek at least endorsement if not strengthening of the pro-SI Executive Order of President Bush (the elder).
