>Further to Pat Naughtin's USMA 22659 I have observed the follolwing
>permutations of year, month, day:

yy mm dd ISO
dd mm yy Europe
mm dd yy USA
mm yy dd some Canadian banks on cancelled cheques
mm dd mm a French mining company operating in Australia
dd yy mm ?

The Canadian situation is particularly confusing. with the European
and US permutations about equally used, plus the peculiar mm yy dd.

Can anybody supply a case of the use of dd yy mm?
