I only suggested dual labelling because most Americans will whine and complain if the old units are phased out entirely. My experience with whining and complaining in politics is that the status quo always get maintained - and that is certainly NOT a step in the right direction
But then, there is the factor of confusion in speed limits. Perhaps if the kilometer speeds were set slightly faster than their US equivalent, people would take them to heart. Johnathan McClure
