In the English-speaking world, "gay" is not used that way.

A more correct word (given the definitions you've provided -- and assuming
one wishes to stereotype a whole nation) would be "weird."

However, I don't think that, in the context of these discussions, such
characterizations are appropriate anyway.

Is there any possibility you could elevate your discourse to a more adult
level?
