Dear Harry and All, Last week, as I was reading the annual report of the Foster's Group, a beer and wine company, I noted that wine production levels were given in hectolitres. This is the only time that I have ever seen this unit used in Australia.
I know that Foster's has extensive wine interests in California and I wondered if the use of hectolitres had come from the wine industry there.
