My wife has just discovered a shopping channel that gives mass in grams and
lengths and widths in millimeters.

It's ACN TV, Channel 227 (DISH) or Channel 367 (DIRECTV). I don't know
whether any of the cable companies carry it.

They have a web site at http://acntv.com. Although their information is
completely uppercase on the web site (including G for gram and MM for
millimeter), they correctly use lowercase on the air.

If you decide to compliment them, the email address is
mailto:customerservice@;acntv.com.

I recommend not criticizing their use of uppercase on the web site. G for
gram and MM for millimeter are permitted (sort of) where the text is
entirely uppercase. I think the fact that they're using SI at all is
laudable.

Surprisingly, their headquarters is in Knoxville, TN. Progressive attitudes
sometimes show up in the most unexpected places.

By the way, I hate shopping channels myself.
