The strength of the Euro and other currencies may help give US companies an economic edge, thus encouraging more FFU products to be exported into metric markets. 

If there is an increase of demand for American products due to the weakening dollar, the only thing that will prevent an influx of FFU products into metric markets will be the governments of those markets restricting products that don't conform to SI specifications.

Exporters Welcome Weaker Dollar

CHICAGO (Reuters) - The weaker dollar is cause for a rare bit of cheer in the long-suffering U.S. manufacturing sector, but exporters say the overvalued U.S. currency has much more room to fall before the global playing field is levelled.
