After a little research, here is what I discovered with UK beer bottles
and cans.

Sizes:
The 568 ml (UK pint) size is very rare.

Labels:
All labels had metric units (in accordance with the UK law). Some (but
not all) of the 568 ml sizes included the word 'pint' on the label.
Labels on all other sizes were metric only.

I spoke to a supplier (Marstons Pedigree) on the phone about exports to
the USA. She said that they use the same bottles for both US and UK
markets. They stopped exporting 568 ml bottles to the US about 4 years
ago. Now all US exports are 500 ml because that is the current UK size.

Their UK labels are metric only and say '500 ml'. However, apparently US
regulations mandate non-metric units so US bottles have:
'500 ml 1 PT. 0.9 US FL. OZ'
