2002-11-28 The only way to mass teach the public is through exposure, in the way I outlined below. What better way is there then to metricate those things first that the public encounters the most! Advertising won't work as people tune out ads. The public is not going to spend time and go back to school, nor would they take advantage of any type of free teaching aids unless they have too.
One way metrication can be accomplished is if the Office of Fatherland Security determines that ignorance of SI is a threat to national security and takes the steps to effect a massive change.
