Scientific Unit
Conversion: Practical Guide to Metrication, by Franois CARDARELLI.
Springer, LONDON. ISBN 1-85233-043-0. Don't be put off by the title; this is
a superb reference of units throughout history, and throughout the
world.

"Scientific Unit Conversion", Franois Cardarelli, Springler, 1997.
An excellent book, listing thousands of units, in use or obsolete,
with high accuracy conversion factors. Also reviews of various
systems of units.
The book MUST be on your bookshelf!
Franois Cardarelli lives in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada.
