According to the Amazon web site the book is available for $54.95+S/H.
Springer-Verlag is not the world's most inexpensive publisher! The
paperback book is reported to have 550 pages in its second edition
(1999).
"This detailed guide is truly unique, giving
accurate metric equivalents and conversion
factors for no fewer than 10,000 scientific
units with detailed descriptions of over 2,000.
It covers the full gamut of science, technology
and medicine, and deals with US, British,
conventional metric, historic and SI units."
The published reviews rave about it.
