Chris Guay of the Proctor and Gamble Co. continues as Associate Member Representative on the Laws and Regulations Committee. Recall that P&G is already acting to promote metric-only labeling in the US. An agenda item of the Board of Directors is increased participation in the work of the OIML. This might result in adoption of rules and regulations in the US which would favor increased use of the SI in the US to increase harmony with the more world-wide OIML regulations on package labeling.
