Dear All, especially pilots, As you know I believe that the transition to metric units is simpler and smoother if there 'Rules of thumb' are available to make metrication easier. These can usually be created as and when required.
However, those industries that have already established a substantial body of Rules of thumb � using old fashioned units � will generally be the most resistant to the change to metric.
