Has anyone heard any further news on metric scales in
Britain? Since the martyrs have lost all of their court cases, have all
the resistant shop keepers now converted? If not, what is the status
of metrication?
What about the posting of prices? Is there a steady
increase of metric only or metric preferred prices?
Is there any movement towards filling requests for pounds
with 500 g instead of 450 g?
What about metrication of roads? Any present
movement to at least allow for metric road signs?
And again, when is metrication of Irish roads suppose to
be completed?
