It was reported here as:
'It will be 1776 feet (541 metres) tall � a figure chosen because it will
remind Americans of the year they gained their independence'

Later, the article went on to say:
'The twin towers of the World Trade Centre were 411 metres high. At 541
metres the Liebskind spire will be taller than Malaysia's 452-metre twin
towers, the world's tallest building'.

The words foot and feet were not mentioned in the article again.

I don't know about you, but I think that I would prefer to have an engineer,
fully versed in SI, build a new building instead of a numerologist!
