Dear Howard and All,

Prime Minister Tony Blair did the same thing in an interview that I heard
yesterday. He kept speaking about troops being 'sixty miles from Baghdad'. I
have no doubt that his military advisors informed him that they were 100
kilometres from Baghdad and that his media advisors dumbed this down to 60
miles.

By the way, it's no wonder that the BBC uses so many colonial measures when
the Prime Minister of the UK is yet to convert to metric.

Cheers,
