There is a threaded discussion group devoted to metrication in the USA at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/metricamerica/
This forum/group allows open membership and an open posting policy. A more aggressive approach to moderation is possible however I don't have the bandwidth. If a responsible party from this list wants to moderate, I can certainly sign over (assign) moderator privileges.
The only catch with Yahoo groups is that membership may require you to have a free Yahoo ID. This is quite tolerable for most people.
If anyone wants to pursue this further let me know at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or via this list. Even otherwise, everyone is encouraged to go there and discuss metrication related issues.
