Dear Euric,

We've already had this discussion in the past (and I think you weren't part of this 
group then).  I prefer to spend my money in more effective ways than to spend it on an 
organization that, while being very useful for the dissemination of metric 
information, does VERY little for the effective use of its resources vis-a-vis 
*metrication* (i.e. read it, *lobbying*)!

Besides, my priority is to clean up the mess in my own country first and foremost.
