Without even checking, I would say almost certainly, in both cases.
 
Except for export to the United States, China has no reason to use anything but metric units (although jewelers and precious metals dealers still cling to traditional Chinese units, such as the tael).

Could someone tell me if road signs in China such as speed and distance are they in metric.  What about gasoline and diesel? Are they sold by the liter? Thanks.
