Han couldn't have predicted that a couple of years ago, so it wouldn't have been a factor in his decision making.
The risk of sending cash is tiny. I send small amounts of cash in the mail all the time (to a member of my family) -- internationally. There's never been a problem. After all, if you fold a piece of A4 paper around the cash, nobody can tell it's there. By the way, Han has made a great contribution, here, for several years. It's just that, until now, he's denied himself six copies per year of Metric Today.
