Hello i just read the article from CNN about the Mars Rover.  They didn't have it right about a foot been 25 cm.  The rest of the article was good they gave distances in both metric and FFU of corse.  The metric was given first and in a couple of places there was only metric.  i have a question.  Does anybody know if fathoms are still used for marine depth.  I think in Canada some charts are in meters and others are in feet.  I don't know if the fathom is used at all anymore.
