Hello Gentlemen, a few days or weeks ago, I was think how we can efficiently replace degrees by gons.
my first thought is quite common 360° -> 400 gon, no minutes or seconds, subdivisions only in conjuction with metric prefixes permitted. E.g. 10 centigon which should equal 10 kilometers. this is actually about navigation but how about other fields like math or even physics which really rely on degrees in areas like force on a inclined horizon or AC calculations with complex numbers and many other fields. those would actually change the number after the calculation. has someone a good and reasonable approach on? bye thx
