Sorry Marcus, Helen, Carl and others who have spoken out are 100% correct.
The two issues are separate. "Metric" time is well...an almost useless endeavour at this point in time. Maybe later, but right now I'd be happy if everyone used 24 hour time and that was it.


Save the "metric" time for those mailing lists, or for people on that fringe that would like to change the time/calender method.

Promoting metric in the US means promoting the system that is in use in the rest of the world. That is separate from changing the metric system or the system by which we tell time. Confusing the two means just makes efforts to convert the US will be less effective.
