Don Hillger, Bill, Marcus and friends:
IT SADENS ME IN PARTICULAR TO HEAR THE LOSS OF *JOSEPH B.REID* as the guiding spirit behind SI. I just missed meeting him while in Canada during 2002 July 4-6. Yes, his generousity to invite me for a lunch meeting 'during my next visit' remain postpone to another life, where I am sure he shall again lead the SI Metric World - perhaps inclusive of TIME.
May I join millions of US/Canadian nationals and rest of the SI family, who knew him, in offering my SPECIAL regards in his heavenly abode.

Till leap year gives the whole week READY:
Is it not time to MODIFY or change to make it perennial, Oh Daddy!

And make the calendar work with Leap Week Rule!

Thanks. I looked for that, but it didn't occur to me to look in the
Classified section. As Joe was quite well known, I expected it to be in the
Obituary section.
