Your last comment presumes, of course, that Utah legislators are the blind ones, rather than you.

This is not the forum to debate the merits of the United Nations, so I'll just repeat my comment to Chimps are Cute: there is no connection between metrication and the UN.

I have no doubt that Utah legislators would fight any type of FORCED metrication. However, as much as I disagree with them on many social issues, I am quite sure they would also fight any type of metric prohibition.

Which is just the way it should be, as far as I am concerned.
