Maybe the USMA should create form letters on their website (like the action alerts of environmental websites) that will facilitate mass mailings by all USMA members and anyone else interested in SI metric. Letters addressed to various organizations can be posted.

Particularly in (track and) field events, it has been common to have the USA commentator telling us how so-and-so pole vaulted, or long jumped, or whatever, xx feet and yy inches, when the electronic scoreboard on the field shown in the background clearly shows meters.
