The funny thing about the Journal is they're supposed to be
pro-business, and pro-business is pro-metric. But despite all their
bullishness about globalization, they're still very protectionist when
it comes to measurement.

Subject: [USMA:29041] Japanese Snowball Fighting

The Wall Street Journal did it again, writing an article on Feb. 26
about Japanese snowball fighting wherein the players hurl snowballs of
diameters described as 2.56 to 2.76 inches at opposing teams. Of
course, this is 6.5 to 7.0 cm, but the Journal tried to make it seem
like some sort of oddball size.

My missive to the WSJ ([EMAIL PROTECTED], in case anyone is interested)
is attached (I do not guarantee that it can be successfully opened).
