This is no 'silly talk' actually.  Metric time CAN be a reality without necessarily 
having to change the second after all (my... 'new' position!  :-)   ).

As I've provided PLENTY of *PROOF* here, it would STILL be significantly better 
despite single conversion factors that would be required for its "bringing in line" 
with the SI second (don't we all have to fiddle with these stupid 60-60-24 factors 
anyways?...)
