I received this reply from a wholesale distributor of thermostats (including Honeywell and others).
I believe if you check, most, if not all, of the thermostats we sell can
be switched from F to C.
After the previous message I sent to this list on the subject, I did some random searching for the details of the various thermostats listed on the different web sites. I quickly came to the same conclusion. At least in the case of electronic digital thermostats, virtually all of them can be switched between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
