Unfortunately, my experience on Wikipedia is that same. Conversely, I have made many edits adding metric. They are only very occasionally undone or disputed. I am glad that somebody else is making changes. If any other metrication enthusiasts would like to channel their energy into edits, please go to: www.wikipedia.org >Does anyone know if of a non-SI, non ifp, >distance measurement unit You could mention that all references to fluid ounces, pints and gallons should have imperial and US equivalents. All references to human weight more than 14 pounds should include a value using stone. I understand that the Japanese quote room sizes in tatami. The tatami is a mat about the same area as a desktop.
