To all, I am in Galway, Ireland. On Tuesday morning I left from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. While waiting at the gate I saw the CNN forecast on a screen; it said that it was 45 degrees in Kuwayt. Poor people with a boarding pass for Kuwayt in their pockets; they have a ticket to hell I thought. In Dublin I transferred to a commuter turboprop plane from the regional airline Aer Arann to Galway. As a vigorous low was approaching, the cloud cover became deep and the plane was in the middle of it. The low caused about 30 hours of continuous rain and I think that Galway got about 40 mm, if not more. On the way to Galway I saw signs 'Loose Chipping - 30 km.p.h.' (SIC). But I still do not see any awareness campaign starting. I wonder when that will start. Or is a new delay in the offing?
