Han, I think you should go to the metric sucks site and post this.
But with some modifications. All you need do is mention that you are in Ireland and metric speed signs are starting to appear, then mention the one below. You don't need to mention the "km.p.h", just that it was 30 km/h. You might want to stop in some supermarkets and if you have a camera, take pictures of metric products and metric scales and pricing. A digital camera may be best but not an utmost necessity.
