I totally disagree. If you did that you would reduce postings to a few a month. Plus, what happens in the UK is a lesson for the US.
Personally, I believe the UKMA, the USMA and One Metre, need to band together and help the UKMA achieve its goal. Then the next step would be to end the moratorium in Canada and make Canada a metric thorn in the US's side. If the UK and Canada make efforts to end their muddles, the pressure will be on the US to convert. What is happening elsewhere affects the US greatly.
