[USMA:31013] dual trail length measurements in Minnesota

Today I glanced at a small sign on the bike trail here in North East 
Minnesota, relatively new trail, and noticed that the distance between 
towns was shown like this:
40.2 m / 64.7 km. I will take a picture of it next time I go that way 
and can send it to anyone interested. I am not sure if it would be ok to 
post it to the list. Pleasant surprise anyway. Not metric only but first 
time that I see km showing and it is not trailing from the old laws 
since it is very new trail.
