Draught beer must be sold in the UK:

1. In glasses calibrated to the brim. The liquid must be at least 95% of the
measure.
or
2. In glasses calibrated to marked lines
or
3. Served in any glass but dispensed through a calibrated meter

I live in the UK. I do not know the proportion of the three options, but the
third option is extremely rare.

If I notice the measure is not right, I almost always ask for a top up. I
have always received the top up immediately, politely, and without question.
