FYI...
There are plans to
produce a US dollar coin with each president over a number of years: http://money.cnn.com/2005/04/27/pf/new_dollar/.
Although I feel this will only aid collectors as the US dollar bill is still in
circulation. The $2 bill is in circulation as well, but most citizens do
not realize this.
