We don't use cubic centimetres for car engines,
In the UK cars are classified by their 'cc'. The forms we fill out ask for
cc for the engine and that how tax breaks etc happen.
What kind of engine does your car have in metric units? If you don't
know, look it up in your owners manual before responding.
Two are 2litre, another 1380cc, and the other 1.8
Why do you think I would have to look in the manual?
It could either mean:
1) I'm not much of a car enthusiast thus I would not readily know
or
2) You think I cannot possible use metric terms and that I would convert to
cu-in to feel happy.
To answer those two:
1) You might accept from other info in this post that I am very much a car
enthusiast
and
2) That tells me more about you than you'd ever recognise.
Our alcohol also comes in metric sizes and what someone may refer to as a
pint is actually 500 ml.
So when you ask for a pint of something you actually get 500ml?
Hmmm, sounds familiar!
