The USMA sells its own ruler at a very inexpensive price (in fact, we got the ruler idea from the USMA), so I do not think they would want to give ours away.

I think the USMA would be happy to let everyone know that the QSI rulers are available. I know they will publish the information in their newsletter and I believe they would put it on the web site if asked. USMA is in the business of promoting metric, not the business of selling rulers.

The USMA ruler is 200 mm long while QSI's is 250 mm long. I also have one that is 300 mm long from the Lummus Co. All are good (except for the fact that the Lummus one has inches in addition to metric). I've also seen 150 mm rulers.
I find that one length is sometimes better than another for different purposes. The 200 mm USMA version is handier to carry around because of it's smaller size. The 300 mm Lummus version is good for drawing lines that extend for the entire length of a standard 215 mm X 280 mm page (or for measuring the length of that page). QSI's 250 mm rule may be a good compromise between the two. I think 150 mm rules are a bit too short for most things.
