Decimalisation of the HOUR is simple multiplying the position of minute hand with 8/5, to get 60 minutes = 100 decimal minutes. As Earth spin its axis *each degree of transit across SUN correspond to 20/3 minutes fopr detrmining LOCAL time*. This give 1440 minutes = 2400 decimal minutes.

Good article. The comments were great as well, and quite telling. If most of the ordinary people can be this supportive of completing the metrication
in the UK, it shows just how out of touch the politicians are when they
worry about losing votes.
