*This one makes sense: I would take 1 BTU = 1 kJ; then I can simply divide the given number in BTU by 3600 to get the power in kilowatt.

I'm using this formula but I question wheather it is giving me the correct results. I've done the math forward and backward to validate the result printed in the book. The result is 27 CFM
300 watts x 3.4 BTU/hr/watt = 1,020 Btu/hr
Tr = Required Equipment Room Temp. = 90F
Ts = Supply Temp. = 55F
1.08 is a constant factor of some kind??
Q = 1.08 x CFM x (Tr - Ts) or Q = 1,020 BTU/hr
CFM = Q/1.08 x (Tr - Ts)
CFM =27 WRONG!!!
If you lower (Tr) to 84F then you will get 27.
Is this formula bunk or what? Give me another way to figure this if it's not right.

I'm trying to convert pounds to ounces, but the pounds have a decimal, for example, I'm trying to convert 7.02 pounds to ounces, would I just multiply 7 by 16 and tack on 2 more ounces or do a I multiply it all by 16? Or is there some other way?
