That's a great movie!  Rather sad though.

As I remember the dialog was mostly metric.

Having just viewed the movie K19, I went to the related National Geographic
web site:

There, to my amazement, I found a number of pages where all the quantities I
saw (except numbers of submarines or people) were given in non-SI and then
with SI equivalents given parenthetically! Nice start!

I have no comment on the accuracy of the statistics given, however.
