Hmmm. Sandwiches provide an interesting quandary. Every sub shop I have
been to offers some variation of the following:

6" (nominally 15 cm) or 1/2 sub
12" (nominally 30 cm) or whole sub
3 foot (1 m) (smaller party size)
6 foot (2 m) (larger party size)

Once again, this is one area where "6 inch" or "1 foot" is nothing more than
a label.

Phil

Most people order a 1/2 or whole in shops I go to (Subway, Blimpie or other
local establishment.)
